Day 9: Three Sisters, a Steep Hill, and Fruita at Last
Chester's Report
I started the day barking at everything. Even a rock. That is not an exaggeration, that is a report. Morning at Goblin Valley, and the rocks were asking for it.
Dublin's Report
We got out for Three Sisters, and then we walked part of the way toward the Goblin's Lair and the Chamber of the Basilisk. It was a beautiful hike, and easy for the most part. Hey, there are the Three Sisters, right there, and the wash walk ran through the riverbed, creekbed, stringbed, whatever bed. That part is on the video, word for word.
Chester's Report
Beautiful and easy, except that hill on the way back. That hill was not easy. Coming back up the hill after the Three Sisters, my paws filed a complaint. Dublin says the stop was worth it, and Dublin is right, but the hill still owes me a treat.
Dublin's Report
Then we rolled on to Fruita at Capitol Reef, with a stop in Torrey on the way. Afternoon at Fruita meant the river trail, our kind of walk. Leashes on, red cliffs all around, and the campground waiting at the end of it. Fruita Campground, Capitol Reef.
Chester's Report
Goblin Valley in the morning, Fruita by the afternoon. That is a good day. Follow Paws Parks and Provisions for more of the trip.
